Chayla has a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta and is a graduate of the Citadel Theatre Young Acting Company. Recent film and TV credits include: Witches of Salem, Believers (TV); When I See You, Red Wine and Rattling, Psycho's Therapy, Bleeding Hearts, Going In (film). After completing her BFA in Acting, Chayla moved to Toronto where she has acted in over a dozen films, an international commercial, and a TV mini-series. Also a screenwriter, Chayla is currently producing, directing, performing, and editing a feature film she wrote. Chayla’s speciality in film editing is green screening and cloning, both of which are vital for her current film. She is also the sole creator for her web series, COVID on the Couch. She has a deep love of nature, particularly of water, which flows through much of her work. As a storyteller, Chayla is most interested in film and TV that promote unity and equity.
